What Happened To World Star Hip Hop?

Woe is the avid viewer of the popular site, World Star Hip Hop... No more videos of foolery, independent rap artist debuts, explicit footage, exclusive interviews and current hip hop videos that could be viewed few places else.

To many, the site was their daily entertainment. So what happened? Why was the site taken down?

Here's why:

Similar to it's hip hop counterpart, OnSmash.com, WorldStarHipHop.com was seized by the federal government for copyright infringement.

These are only two (arguably two of the most popular) of many sites on the web directed to the young, urban demographic that have been shut down by Homeland Security until further notice.

I can't say I didn't see this coming. I guess we'll see a resurgence in Youtube users for now...
