Tiki Barber Returning: Former Giants Running Back Ending Retirement

It looks like Tiki Barber has learned a thing or two from Brett Favre.
The former New York Giants running back's agent, Mark Lepselter, tweeted that his client "has filed the papers with the NFL to officially come out of retirement."
"After seeing my brother still have fun at our age, it reignited the fire. I'm really looking forward to the challenge of seeing if I can get back to the level of where I was," Barber told FOXSports.com. "I started working out again recently. It kind of shocked myself. I still had a lot of the strength I had before. I'm really looking forward to making a return."
Barber retired in 2006, two years before the Giants won the Super Bowl.
The last time the 35-year-old stepped on a football field, he was booed during the Giants Ring of Honor ceremony in the New Meadowlands Stadium.
According to Mike Floria of ProFootballTalk, Giants spokesman Pat Hanlon said the team still holds the rights to Barber, who still has time left on his contract.
UPDATE: The Giants will not retain Barber, according to Bob Glauber of Newsday.
